Multiple Spin Technique (part 2)- the momentum

internet source: spinning
So I have been talking about the turns and spins technique, how about multiple turns and spins. A lot of instructors will tell you that give enough momentum to spin more than one. Yes, the greater momentum can work for up to triple spin; however, when it comes to a 'real' multiple spin, initial momentum itself is not enough. When you run out of the momentum, you can actually create one by yourself even during a turn, but of course you have to snsure your position is correct first.

You need to keep your weight at one single spot which is on and around the inside edge of the ball of you foot. Check that after every spin you still keep your weight on that same spot. In order to keep holding weight on that spot, you need to have a really tight core, straighten your knees to the fullest, and keep your elevation to the highest. And of course, you need great leg muscles (especially the calf!!) to maintain this position.

When you are about to lose momentum, turn the upper body (CBM), the CBM will drag your lower body, the head should be the last to move as you need to spot. After one turn, check that you have exactly the same position as before the spin. Then repeat the same in order to achieve more spins. You should do it very slowly at first, as you advance, you can speed it up and do it smoothly without pause.
